What Can I Do about Dental Pain?

Good dental care is part of good health care. Dental pain may be more common among children whose families do not have the resources to get regular dental check-ups. If a student has persistent pain in a tooth that is not loose, you can let the student’s family members know and encourage them to visit a dentist.

Even if a child does not have tooth pain, they should see a dentist every six months to get their teeth checked and cleaned. Explore our materials on how you help keep kids free of dental pain so they are healthy and ready to learn below.
